Cadaster of Pollutants in Buildings after Remediation

Schadstoff Kataster beim GebaeuderueckbauExamination and assessment of pollutants in contaminated construction substances

In industrial construction, there are always pollutants in construction material (load of first degree) or contaminations due to utilization. The variety of possible contaminations can not be covered by the usual suspects asbestos, PCB, tar, mineral fibres, and wood preservatives. Moreover, there is a connection between construction eras and the expectable hazardous substances. Also, certain kinds of construction and utilization as well as the building’s equipment have specific problems with pollutants, which are explained on the basis of many examples.

A lot of the conveyed information is of great importance concerning construction in existing contexts within major reconstruction measures. Discussing examples, the course will deal with special techniques concerning demolition and separation. The main aspect will, however, be the essential basis for processing which are important for authorities, planners, and executives.
